The Xiaomi Mesh System AC1200 is a Wi-Fi 5 networking solution designed for whole-home coverage. It operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, delivering maximum throughput rates of 300 Mbit/s and 867 Mbit/s respectively. This system utilizes MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies to maintain stable signal distribution for up to 120 connected devices. It incorporates intelligent mesh technology to extend signal reach across a maximum coverage area of 140 square meters. The internal four-antenna array is integrated into a white plastic desktop housing.
Wired connectivity is provided by two Gigabit Ethernet ports that support auto-sensing WAN and LAN roles. Security is managed through WPA3-SAE, WPA2-PSK, and WPA-PSK encryption standards, supplemented by an integrated firewall and URL filtering. Network management is accessible via the Mi Home application or a web-based interface, featuring parental controls, QoS support, and guest access. The hardware includes 128 MB of internal memory and supports various protocols including PPPoE and DHCP. This 1-pack configuration includes an AC adapter and a network cable for installation.
