The TP-Link Omada EAP723 is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point designed for business environments. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, offering a maximum combined data rate of 3600 Mbit/s. Throughput reaches 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2882 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Integrated MU-MIMO and beamforming manage signal distribution for connected clients, while the internal antennas provide a coverage area of up to 140 m². The unit is rated to support up to 250 concurrent devices.

For wired connectivity, the EAP723 features a single 2.5G Ethernet port for high-bandwidth backhaul. The device is powered via 802.3at PoE+ or a 12V DC input (an AC adapter is not included). The white housing measures 160 mm × 36.7 mm and is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. Security features include WPA3 encryption, guest access, and tagged VLAN support for traffic isolation. Network administrators can manage the device via a web interface, which includes tools for bandwidth control and granular traffic oversight. Intelligent mesh technology enables wireless expansion without the need for additional cabling.
