The NETGEAR Orbi 970 Series is a quad-band mesh system utilizing the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. It provides a maximum combined wireless throughput of 11530 Mbit/s across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. This 3-pack system is designed to cover areas up to 761.8 m2 and supports connectivity for up to 200 simultaneous devices. Wireless performance is maintained through 12 internal antennas, MU-MIMO technology, and beamforming for signal optimization. Data transmission is enhanced using 4K-QAM modulation on the 6GHz and 5GHz bands and 1K-QAM on the 2.4GHz band.

Wired connectivity is provided through three RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports with 10 Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit interface types. The hardware includes 2048 MB of internal memory and an Ethernet WAN port for high-speed internet input. Network security is implemented via WPA3 encryption, an integrated firewall, and IP address filtering. Administrative features include web-based management, Quality of Service (QoS) bandwidth control, and a DHCP server. This desktop-placed system also supports guest network access and parental controls to manage connected users and network traffic.
