The Noctua NF-A6X15 PWM is a 60 mm case fan with a slim 15 mm profile, designed for applications with limited space. Its compact frame makes it a suitable replacement for louder or less efficient standard 60 mm fans in small form factor (SFF) builds, network devices, and other electronics. The fan is equipped with a 4-pin PWM header, allowing compatible motherboards or dedicated controllers to regulate its speed automatically based on thermal loads. This functionality provides a precise balance between required cooling performance and overall system noise output.

This model is built around Noctua's SSO2 bearing, a self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing engineered for consistent long-term stability and quiet operation. For users prioritizing acoustic performance, the package includes a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum rotational speed and sound level to 16.5 dB. The fan is constructed from PBT GF30 material and comes with silicone anti-vibration mounts to dampen operational noise transferred to the chassis. An extension cable and a Y-splitter cable are also provided for installation flexibility.
