The NZXT Kraken Elite RGB 240 is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution designed for CPU thermal management. It incorporates a 240mm aluminum radiator paired with an NZXT Turbine Pump to provide effective heat dissipation for mainstream and enthusiast processors. A key feature is the 2.72-inch IPS LCD screen on the pump head, which displays real-time system metrics or user-customized graphics. This cooler is engineered to balance thermal performance with system monitoring and aesthetic customization within a PC build.
This unit includes two 120mm PWM fans that operate on Fluid Dynamic Bearings, allowing for fan speed adjustments based on system temperature. All performance settings, including fan curves, pump speed, and the content displayed on the screen, are configured through the NZXT CAM software. The cooler uses a single breakout cable for power and data, which helps to simplify the installation process and reduce cable clutter. It ships with the necessary mounting hardware for current Intel and AMD sockets and includes pre-applied thermal paste on its copper base plate.
