The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL is a wired gaming keyboard equipped with OmniPoint 3.0 HyperMagnetic switches. These analog Hall Effect switches allow for individual key actuation point adjustment, configurable from a 0.1 mm for rapid inputs to 4.0 mm for a more deliberate press. A Rapid Trigger function is designed to reduce latency by resetting a key the instant it begins to travel upwards, facilitating quicker repeated keystrokes. The keyboard connects to the system via a detachable USB-C cable for a direct and stable interface.

This model features a tenkeyless (TKL) form factor, which removes the numeric keypad to increase desk space for mouse movement. The keycaps are made from double-shot PBT, a material known for its durability and resistance to surface wear. For customization, the keyboard provides per-key RGB illumination, enabling detailed and programmable lighting schemes. Up to five custom profiles, including macros and key bindings, can be stored directly on the keyboard's onboard memory, allowing settings to be retained across different devices without requiring software.
