The MicroConnect CAT7 S/FTP extension cable provides a 0.5-meter link to extend network connections between routers, servers, and switches. This cable utilizes a 26 AWG stranded copper conductor to maintain signal integrity while allowing for cable flexibility. It features S/FTP shielding with individual foil-screened pairs and an overall braid to minimize electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is constructed from Low Smoke Zero Halogen material, which reduces toxic smoke and gas in the event of fire.

This cable supports a frequency of up to 2000 MHz and features a straight male RJ45 plug and a female RJ45 socket. It includes molded snagless boots for latch protection and strain relief to prevent physical damage or disconnection. The cable is rated for Power over Ethernet applications, enabling both data and power transmission to compatible hardware. Its 6 mm outer diameter and round shape allow for standard cable management in office environments.
