The TP-Link Deco BE25 is a dual-band mesh Wi-Fi system based on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. It provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 3600 Mbit/s, with up to 2882 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The system utilizes 4K-QAM modulation, MU-MIMO, and beamforming to manage up to 150 simultaneous devices. Intelligent mesh technology allows the unit to work with other compatible nodes to maintain a single network identity across a residence.
This unit includes two 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports for high-speed WAN or LAN connections. Security is managed via WPA3-WPA2-Personal encryption, an integrated firewall, and URL filtering. Network administrators can configure VPN server and client modes using OpenVPN, PPTP, or L2TP/IPSec.
