The exceptionally sharp and innovative forged steel blade splits wood more efficiently. The blade is also double-hardened to keep the sharp, precision-ground edge sharper for longer. The wider blade and splitting wedge provide more power and make axe removal easier. Thanks to the low-friction coating, the blade slides through the wood and prevents rust. The overmolded axe head connection is firmly attached to the shaft.

X-series™ axes are virtually unbreakable and feature a lightweight yet extremely durable FiberComp™ handle that absorbs shock and protects against overstrikes. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. The larger than usual, textured SoftGrip™-coated area of the shaft provides a firm grip, and the curved handle end enhances work safety before, during, and after the motion.
