The extremely sharp and innovative, forged steel blade chops wood more efficiently. The blade is also double hardened to keep the sharp, precision-ground edge sharper for longer. A wider blade and splitting wedge provide more power and make the axe easier to remove. Thanks to the low-friction coating, the blade glides effortlessly through the wood and prevents rust. The overmolded axe head connection is firmly attached to the shaft.

X-series™ axes are virtually impossible to break and feature a lightweight but extremely durable FiberComp™ handle that absorbs shock and protects against overstrikes. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. The handle's larger-than-normal textured SoftGrip™-coated area provides a firm grip, and the curved handle end improves work safety before, during, and after movement.
