The NZXT Function 2 MiniTKL is a wired keyboard designed for gaming performance, featuring NZXT Swift Optical Switches. These linear switches provide rapid input with a 1 mm actuation point and a 1.5 mm total travel distance. Its 8000 Hz polling rate minimizes input latency, while the MiniTKL form factor provides more desk space for mouse movement than a full-size board while retaining the function row. Integrated N-key rollover and anti-ghosting technologies ensure all simultaneous inputs are registered correctly during use.

The keyboard's chassis is built with an aluminum top plate for structural rigidity and is fitted with doubleshot PBT keycaps for durability. Illumination is provided by per-key RGB backlighting, which can be customized through the NZXT CAM software. The design includes two-step adjustable height settings and a detachable wrist rest to support different ergonomic preferences. Connectivity is handled by a 2-meter detachable braided USB-C to USB-A cable, which also facilitates portability.
