The Sony WH-ULT900NW.CE7 is a set of wireless over-ear headphones designed for music playback and calls. They are equipped with 40 mm dynamic drivers in a closed-back acoustic system, which contributes to sound isolation. The headphones connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2 and support a range of audio codecs, including AAC and LDAC. For wired listening or use with non-Bluetooth devices, a detachable 1.2 m audio cable with a 3.5 mm connector is also provided.

These headphones incorporate an active noise cancelling system to reduce ambient environmental sounds. For voice calls, they utilize multiple beamforming microphones intended to isolate the user's voice. The built-in battery provides up to 30 hours of continuous audio playback and recharges via a USB-C port in approximately 3.5 hours. A fast-charging feature is available. The design is foldable for storage, and the unit weighs 255 grams, with controls integrated directly into the earcups.
