The Xiaomi AX1500 is a dual-band router utilizing the Wi-Fi 6 standard to provide improved wireless performance. This device delivers throughput rates of up to 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz frequency. It incorporates MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies to manage signal distribution for up to 10 supported devices. For expanded coverage, the unit supports intelligent mesh technology to integrate with compatible networking hardware. Four external antennas are fixed to the chassis to maintain signal integrity across both available wireless bands.

Wired connectivity is provided through four Gigabit Ethernet ports that operate as self-adaptive WAN or LAN interfaces. Security features include WPA3-SAE encryption, an integrated firewall, and IP address filtering for network protection. The router includes 128 MB of internal memory and supports management via a web-based interface for configuring parental controls and Quality of Service parameters. The housing is constructed from ABS plastic and designed for desktop placement with a footprint of 247 mm by 143.5 mm. A dedicated reset button and WPS push button are included for physical hardware management.
