The Cisco Catalyst 1300-24XT is a managed Layer 2/Layer 3 switch designed for business networks. It features 24 RJ-45 Ethernet ports for standard wired connections and four 10G SFP slots for high-speed uplinks to core hardware. With a 480 Gbit/s switching capacity, the device handles high-volume data traffic across all ports. As a non-PoE model, it is designed exclusively for data forwarding rather than powering peripheral devices.

The rack-mountable chassis fits standard server racks for centralized installations. Administrators can manage the switch via a built-in web interface or the command-line interface. Its Layer 3 functionality handles inter-network communication and IP routing. Traffic is managed using eight hardware queues with Weighted Round Robin scheduling for service prioritization.
