The Fractal Design North XL is a large mid-tower case engineered for high-performance component compatibility and substantial airflow. Its design merges a fine-mesh front panel with genuine wood accents, providing a distinct aesthetic suitable for various environments. The spacious interior accommodates a wide range of motherboards, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX, offering flexibility for complex and powerful system builds.

Cooling capacity is a primary focus, with support for large radiators, including up to 420 mm in the front and 360 mm at the top. The case comes equipped with three 140 mm PWM fans pre-installed at the front to establish a solid thermal baseline.
