The Tefal OptiGrill+ GC7148 is a contact grill that utilizes Automatic Sensor Cooking technology to adjust grilling time and temperature based on the thickness and quantity of the food. It features six automatic cooking programs for burgers, poultry, sandwiches, sausages, steak, and fish. A built-in LED display indicates the cooking progress from rare to well-done, providing a visual guide for doneness. With 2000 W of power, the unit heats quickly, and the 600 cm² (300 x 200 mm) cooking surface is suitable for preparing several items at once.

This model's functionality is expanded by the included Snacking & Baking accessory, which allows the appliance to be used for baking, reheating, or browning dishes. The grill's housing is constructed from stainless steel, and the plates are made of die-cast aluminum with a non-stick coating. For maintenance, the plates and the large-capacity drip tray are removable and dishwasher-safe. A manual mode with four temperature settings is also available for customized cooking preparations.
