The Thermaltake View 300 MX is a mid-tower chassis constructed from SPCC steel with a 4mm tempered glass side panel. It accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, including E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. The case is supplied with two 200mm ARGB PWM fans at the front and one 120mm ARGB PWM fan at the rear to establish initial airflow. An interchangeable front panel design allows users to select between different aesthetic or performance-oriented configurations.

The internal layout is designed for flexible cooling and component installation. It supports liquid cooling radiators up to 360mm in the front, top, and side positions. The chassis provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 175mm in height and features seven rotatable expansion slots for horizontal or vertical graphics card mounting. For storage, the case includes mounting options for up to two 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives. The front I/O panel provides access to one USB Type-C port and two USB 3.2 Type-A ports.
