The Thermaltake TOUGHFAN 12 RGB is a set of three 120mm fans designed for high-static-pressure applications. This makes them suitable for use with liquid cooling radiators or in cases with restrictive front panels where pushing air through is a priority. The fans operate on a PWM-controlled speed range from 500 to 2000 RPM, allowing for a balance between cooling performance and noise output. The assembly uses a standard 120 x 120 x 25 mm frame for compatibility with most PC case and radiator mounts.

At maximum rotational speed, each fan is rated to generate up to 53.75 CFM of airflow and 2.4 mmH2O of static pressure with a noise level of 21.2 dB. The design incorporates a second-generation hydraulic bearing for operational stability. For illumination, each fan features multi-color RGB LEDs that are managed via an included controller, which connects to a motherboard's internal USB 2.0 header.
