The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6200F 24G Class-4 PoE 4SFP+ 370W Switch (JL725B#ABB) is a Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch for enterprise access networks. It provides 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports for connecting end devices, such as computers, wireless access points, and IP cameras. The unit has a total switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 95.2 Mpps. Administrators can segment and route data between IP networks using the integrated Layer 3 features. Four 10G-capable SFP+ slots are included for high-speed fibre uplinks to distribution or core switches.
This 1U rack-mountable chassis fits standard 19-inch infrastructure and measures 442 by 327 by 43.9 mm. A 370 W Power over Ethernet (PoE) budget allows the switch to power compatible hardware directly via network cabling. The system supports physical stacking of up to eight units to consolidate management as requirements grow. Settings can be configured via a web-based interface or locally using the RJ-45 and USB Type-C console ports. Access control lists, VLAN support, and Quality of Service protocols provide control over security policies and traffic prioritisation.
Key Features:- Hardware processing includes an 1800 MHz ARM Cortex-A72 processor, 8192 MB of internal memory, and an 8 MB packet buffer.
- MAC address table capacity of up to 32,768 entries for tracking devices in large campus or enterprise networks.
- Network latency of 2.28 microseconds at 1 Gbps and 1.46 microseconds at 10 Gbps.
- Device security protocols, including RADIUS, TACACS+, and MAC-based authentication, for verifying users and hardware.
- Typical operating power consumption of 65 W, excluding connected PoE device loads.
