TP-LINK Archer BE900 is a quad-band desktop router utilizing the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. It provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 24400 Mbit/s across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. The 2.4 GHz band supports up to 1376 Mbit/s, while two separate 5 GHz bands each offer up to 5760 Mbit/s. This device incorporates 12 internal antennas to support MU-MIMO and beamforming technology, covering up to 1000 m² and connecting up to 128 devices simultaneously. Intelligent mesh technology is included to facilitate expanded coverage within compatible networks.

The hardware includes five RJ-45 Ethernet ports supporting Multi-Gigabit speeds of 1000, 2500, and 10000 Mbit/s for high-bandwidth wired connections. It features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for external data handling and peripheral connectivity. Security is managed through WPA3 and enterprise-level encryption protocols, alongside an integrated firewall and VPN support for OpenVPN and WireGuard. Deployment is designed for desktop placement, with management accessible via a web-based interface. The unit also provides physical controls including a reset button and a WPS push button.
