The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A is a 27-inch monitor designed for high-speed gaming, featuring a WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution on an IPS panel. This combination delivers detailed visuals with accurate colour representation across wide viewing angles. The display achieves a 170 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time (MPRT) through its Extreme Low Motion Blur technology, which works to reduce motion blur and ghosting during fast-paced sequences. It supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies to synchronize the refresh rate with compatible graphics cards, resulting in smoother gameplay by minimizing screen tearing.

Visual quality is further supported by a 10-bit colour depth, allowing for the display of 1.07 billion colours and covering 130% of the sRGB colour space. The monitor is compatible with the HDR10 high dynamic range standard, which enhances contrast to produce brighter whites and deeper blacks.
