The NZXT H5 Elite is a mid-tower case constructed with a steel frame and tempered glass panels on the front and side. This design is intended to display internal hardware while maintaining a clean aesthetic. It provides compatibility for standard ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, accommodating a range of build configurations. The chassis includes integrated front-panel RGB lighting, which can be managed via an included controller for direct illumination adjustments.

This case is configured for thermal performance with a specific airflow design focused on cooling primary components. It comes with two pre-installed 140mm F Series RGB fans at the front for intake and an angled 120mm fan at the bottom to direct air toward the graphics card. For liquid cooling, the case supports a radiator up to 280mm in the front, 240mm on the top, and 120mm at the rear. Additional features include removable dust filters and dedicated channels and straps for simplified cable management.
