The Delock PCIe x4 low-profile card adds four external USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) Type-A ports to desktop systems. The card uses a PCIe 2.0 x4 interface and provides four external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, each supporting data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. Four independent controllers prevent bandwidth sharing between devices, allowing multiple high-bandwidth peripherals, such as external storage drives or docking stations, to operate at full speed simultaneously. Its low-profile design fits into small-form-factor cases and standard desktop towers.
Connectivity is provided by four external USB Type-A ports on the rear bracket. The card does not require an additional power cable from the computer's power supply unit. Onboard configuration allows for per-port current limiting to protect connected devices, and adjustable settings enable the card to provide up to 1.5 A per port for high-draw peripherals. The unit requires a free PCI Express x4, x8, or x16 slot.
Key Features:- Four Renesas uPD720202 chipsets provide a dedicated controller for each port.
- PCIe 2.0 specification ensures compatibility with a wide range of motherboards.
- Onboard jumpers allow for selecting between 900 mA and 1.5 A power output per port.
- Nine integrated LEDs monitor power status and data activity for each connection.
- Native support for Linux kernel 3.3 and later allows for driverless installation.
- Compatible with Windows 8.1, 10, 11, and Windows Server 2016.
