The Bosch Indego S 500 is a robotic lawnmower engineered for lawns up to 500 square meters. It is powered by a 2.5 Ah Lithium-Ion battery that delivers up to 60 minutes of continuous operation on a single charge, with a recharge time of approximately one hour. The cutting mechanism consists of three pivoting blades driven by a brushless motor, providing a 190 mm cutting width in each pass. This model is designed to handle terrain with inclines up to 27 percent.

This mower utilizes a LogiCut navigation system, which guides it to mow in efficient, parallel lines rather than a random pattern. For perimeter maintenance, it incorporates a BorderCut function to provide a clean finish along lawn edges. The cutting height is manually adjustable to one of three positions between 30 mm and 50 mm. A built-in mulching function finely chops grass clippings and distributes them back into the lawn. The unit's operational area is defined by a boundary wire installed around the perimeter.

Operational autonomy is managed through an automated mowing schedule and a multizone capability for gardens with separate lawn areas. The Indego S 500 automatically returns to its charging base when the battery is low or the mowing cycle is complete.
