The Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black is a premium single-tower air cooling solution designed for demanding CPU thermal loads. It utilizes seven 6 mm heat pipes to transfer heat rapidly from the nickel-plated copper base to the expansive aluminum fin stack. This structure is intended to offer heat dissipation performance typically associated with larger 140 mm class coolers while maintaining a 120 mm width footprint. The entire cooler assembly measures 158 mm in height, requiring confirmation of adequate vertical clearance within the chosen PC chassis.

Cooling relies on two NF-A12x25 chromax.black 120 mm fans operating in a push-pull configuration. These fans integrate PWM support, allowing rotational speed adjustment up to 2000 RPM based on current thermal requirements.
