The Braun ThermoScan 7+ Ear Thermometer (IRT6525NOEE) is an infrared device designed to measure body temperature via the ear canal. It features Age Precision technology, which adjusts fever guidance based on the patient's age, from newborn to adult. The thermometer provides a reading in one second, making it suitable for use with infants. The tip is pre-warmed to 34°C to prevent the sensor from cooling the ear canal, ensuring consistent results. The ExacTemp positioning system uses a light and a buzzer to verify correct placement before a measurement is taken. All temperature readouts are displayed in Celsius.

The device has a backlit LCD screen that shows color-coded results to help identify fever status at a glance. Large buttons on the front panel allow the user to toggle between age settings and trigger measurements. For use in low light, a silent night mode disables the buzzer and activates an integrated light to help position the probe. Two AA batteries are included. A protective storage case is provided to shield the sensor and housing from damage. The unit weighs 112 grams and includes a memory function to store previous measurements. Disposable lens filters are included for hygienic use across multiple family members.
