The Braun No Touch + Touch thermometer (BNT300EE) measures body temperature on the forehead, with or without skin contact. It offers two modes: direct skin contact or a non-invasive reading from a distance. The device measures temperatures between 34°C and 43°C. Readings take two seconds, making the process quick for both infants and adults. It is suitable for newborns, allowing for health tracking from birth. An infrared sensor detects the heat naturally radiated by the skin to determine the temperature.

The device features a backlit LCD that changes colour to indicate the temperature status based on pre-set fever thresholds. A positioning light helps users aim the sensor between the eyebrows for more accurate results. A built-in buzzer sounds once the measurement is complete. The thermometer is powered by two AAA batteries and switches off automatically after 60 seconds to conserve battery life. The white exterior features buttons to control the power and measurement modes.
