The CONTOUR Cerevo LiveShell is a hardware encoder that broadcasts video directly to the internet, eliminating the need for a host computer. It handles data transmission independently, serving as a standalone alternative to software-based streaming setups. The device maintains a continuous live feed by managing its internet connection internally. An integrated recovery system monitors network status and automatically reconnects if the signal drops, preventing stream interruptions. It is designed to provide broadcast stability for event operators and production crews.

The unit measures 180 × 190 × 50 mm and weighs 450 g. A standard HDMI port allows for connection to local monitoring displays or additional production hardware. As an external unit, it does not require installation into a PCIe slot or internal motherboard port. Power and data connectivity are managed via ports located on the chassis.
