The TP-Link Archer AX1500 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router designed for the IEEE 802.11ax standard. It provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 1500 Mbit/s, delivering up to 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The hardware utilizes OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology to manage data transmission across multiple devices. Integrated beamforming and four external antennas focus signals toward connected clients, supporting coverage for up to 185.8 square meters and 50 devices.
Wired connectivity includes one Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports for Ethernet connections. Security is managed through WPA3 encryption, a built-in firewall, and guest access, while parental controls provide URL filtering and time-based management. The device supports VPN server and client functions via OpenVPN and PPTP. Management is handled through a web-based interface for Quality of Service bandwidth controls. This desktop unit measures 260.2 mm by 135 mm.
