The Chieftec Hawk AL-02B-TG-OP is a mid-tower chassis constructed with a 0.6 mm SPCC steel frame and a polished aluminum front panel. This design offers a minimalist aesthetic while providing a sturdy foundation for system components. A tempered glass side panel provides a clear view of the interior, allowing for the display of hardware. The case is designed for builders who prefer an understated look without extensive RGB illumination.

Internal layout supports ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, offering flexibility for various build types. The chassis accommodates CPU coolers up to 166 mm in height and standard ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 200 mm. For storage, it provides two 3.5-inch bays, two 2.5-inch bays, and a single 5.25-inch external bay, which can be used for optical drives or other compatible accessories.

Cooling capacity is concentrated at the front and rear of the case. The front panel supports up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans, or a single 240 mm liquid cooling radiator. The rear mount fits one 120 mm fan or a 120 mm radiator. To help maintain system cleanliness and airflow efficiency, removable dust filters are pre-installed at the front and bottom air intakes. No fans are included, giving the user complete control over the cooling configuration.
