The Cisco Business 141ACM Mesh Extender (CBW141ACM-E-EU) is a network device designed to extend wireless coverage and eliminate dead zones by relaying existing signals. It uses the IEEE 802.11ac standard to provide concurrent dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) connectivity, managing varied device types and traffic loads. The hardware supports a maximum wireless throughput of 867 Mbit/s. The extender features four integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbit/s), allowing for the direct connection of hardware such as IP phones or computers without the need for an additional network switch. Designed for desktop placement, the unit weighs 365 grams and uses internal antennas with a 3 dBi gain for indoor signal distribution. Power can be supplied via a DC source or Power over Ethernet (PoE), providing flexibility in locations without nearby wall outlets. Initial configuration is managed via web-based tools, and security is maintained through WPA3 and 802.1X authentication via RADIUS servers.
