The Ubiquiti airMAX NanoStation 5AC Loco is an outdoor wireless bridge designed for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configurations. Operating on the 5 GHz band with airMAX AC technology, it extends network coverage to areas where cabling is impractical. The unit features an integrated antenna and is managed via a web-based interface, which allows for DHCP server configuration and QoS settings to prioritise data traffic.

The device connects to the local network via a Gigabit Ethernet port. Power consumption is 7 W, and a PoE injector is required (sold separately). Onboard diagnostics include a physical reset button and status LEDs. The unit supports 802.11ac and 802.11n standards for compatibility with airMAX infrastructure. Its compact design is suitable for wall or pole mounting, and it uses standard security protocols to protect wireless transmissions.
