This unmanaged, plug-and-play switch expands your wired network capacity without requiring configuration. The TP-Link TL-SG116 provides 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbit/s on every connection. Devices such as desktop computers, network-attached storage, and printers connect directly using standard Ethernet cabling. Each port uses autonegotiation to set the optimal speed for the connected device. The switch is designed solely for data transit and does not provide Power over Ethernet (PoE). Adding devices to the network is done by simply plugging them in; no software interface is required.

The 16-port switch is housed in a durable metal chassis designed for efficient, passive heat dissipation. It is fanless and runs silently, making it suitable for quiet office or home environments.
