The TP-Link TL-SG108 V3 is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit desktop switch that requires no software configuration. It provides eight RJ45 Ethernet ports for connecting computers, access points, or storage drives. Each port supports Gigabit data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbps and uses auto-negotiation to detect link speeds. The switch operates at Layer 2 to manage traffic forwarding; once connected to a router, it immediately increases the number of available network nodes.

The black steel chassis protects internal components and dissipates heat passively. As the design is fanless, the switch operates silently, making it suitable for quiet office environments. Measuring 158 x 101 x 25 mm, the unit sits compactly on a shelf, though it can also be wall-mounted to save desk space. Front-panel LEDs indicate power status and individual port activity.
