The StarTech PEXUSB3S7 7-Port PCIe USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) expansion card is an internal controller that expands desktop connectivity. Using a PCI Express 2.0 x1 interface, it adds seven ports to your system. It supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s, suitable for external storage drives, docking stations, and card readers. Integrated UASP support increases throughput and reduces CPU overhead, making the card well-suited for workstations that require numerous simultaneous USB connections.

This card features six external USB Type-A ports and one internal port. An integrated SATA power connector supplies current for bus-powered hardware. While it is built for a full-height form factor, it remains compatible with low-profile systems.
