The TP-Link TL-SF1008P 8-Port 10/100 Mbps Desktop PoE+ Switch expands wired networks without the need for configuration. As an unmanaged, plug-and-play device, it forwards traffic as soon as cables are connected. It provides eight Fast Ethernet ports for computers, printers, and similar hardware. Four of these ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE+), delivering both data and power through a single network cable. The device has a total power budget of 66 W; by supplying up to 30 W per port, it can power devices such as IP cameras or wireless access points without requiring nearby electrical outlets.

The unit is housed in a metal chassis that dissipates heat. Its fanless design ensures silent operation, making it suitable for quiet office or living spaces.
