The D-Link DGS-108/E 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch allows you to expand your wired network without any configuration. This plug-and-play device provides eight Gigabit Ethernet ports for computers, network-attached storage, or printers. Each RJ-45 port automatically delivers data transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s. No setup is required; traffic is forwarded as soon as you connect your cables. The switch operates at Layer 2 and uses standard 10/100/1000 Mbps negotiation. You can use the device immediately out of the box to establish network links.

The switch is housed in a metal desktop chassis designed for daily use. Its fanless design ensures silent operation, making it suitable for workstations or quiet rooms. It measures 162 x 102 x 28 mm and weighs 270 g. Designed for flat surfaces, the unit is not rack-mountable. Front-facing LEDs show power status and link activity for each port.
