The CHERRY G84-4100 is a wired mechanical keyboard designed with a compact 75% form factor. Its primary function is to provide a full typing experience in environments with limited space, such as on mobile carts, within 19-inch rack systems, or on small desktops. The 78-key QWERTY layout omits the numeric keypad to achieve its minimal footprint. Connection to a host system is established through a standard USB interface, and an included adapter provides compatibility with legacy PS/2 ports.

This keyboard utilizes mechanical switches with Gold Crosspoint contacts, engineered for a service life of 20 million actuations per key. The keys feature an actuation point of 1.9 mm and a total travel distance of 3.8 mm, providing distinct tactile feedback.
