The Noctua NH-D15 is a dual-tower air cooling solution designed to maintain stable processor temperatures under high computational loads. Heat is transferred from the CPU through a nickel-plated copper base plate into six 6mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes. These pipes distribute thermal energy across two large heatsink arrays constructed from aluminum fins, maximizing the available surface area for dissipation.
Cooling performance is achieved utilizing two 140mm NF-A15 fans, which employ the SSO2 bearing system for long-term stability and silent operation. The fans support Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), allowing the rotational speed to scale dynamically up to 1500 RPM. This configuration facilitates a maximum air movement of 140.2 m³/h while maintaining a noise level of 24.6 dB.
