The Delock 91680 is an internal 3.5" SATA CFast card reader designed to connect professional flash storage to a computer motherboard. It uses a 22-pin SATA connector for data transfer and power. The system treats the inserted media as a standard internal storage drive, allowing direct access via the SATA bus without the need for external cabling or enclosures. This makes the device suitable for industrial applications and workstations requiring reliable storage.
The reader fits into a standard 3.5-inch drive bay. A combined SATA data and power cable is included to connect the device to the motherboard. Mounting the reader internally keeps the card protected within the chassis. Because the device is OS-independent and requires no manual driver installation, it is compatible with most systems. The BIOS detects the card immediately, allowing it to be used as a storage or boot drive—a useful feature for developers who need to swap bootable media in a desktop environment.
