MDS 9148 8-PORT 8GBPS FC OPTIC

This is one software On-Demand 8 port activation Upgrade License Kit for the Cisco MDS 9148 switch to activate increment of 8 ports.

Quantity of 8 Cisco short wave 4Gbps SFP GBICs DS-SFP-FC4G-SW= are included.

On-Demand 8-Port Activation license allows the addition of eight 8-Gbps capable ports (downward compatible to speeds: 4-Gbps, 2-Gbps and 1-Gbps). After activation you can put into SFP slots either 4-Gbps or 8-Gbps SFPs and use them.

Cisco MDS 9148 switch has 48 ports. Customers have the option of purchasing preconfigured at factory switches with 16 or 32 active ports (DS-C9148D-8G16P-K9, DS-C9148D-4G16P-K9, DS-C9148D-8G32P-K9, DS-C9148D-8G32P-K9) and upgrading onsite all the way to 48 ports by adding these licenses
