It replaces the motherboard’s stock Integrated Loading Mechanism to ensure uniform pressure across the integrated heat spreader. Improved contact between the processor and the cooler base helps prevent bowing and increases thermal transfer efficiency. The frame is made of black anodised aluminium. Each kit includes the frame, four pan-head screws, and the necessary installation tools.
